St. Maarten is a great dive destination. The outlying wreck and reef sites offer fantastic dives and excellent photo opportunities. For the average diver whose partner or family do not dive, here is where St. Maarten excels. Plenty of beaches, snorkeling, activities, shopping and day trips to keep everyone entertained while the divers go about the pleasure of diving. Waters are warm and inviting, and the marine life is abundant. Moray eels, turtle and southern stingray are common sightings - and frog fish and jaw fish are a treat to find.
Dive Adventures chooses dive sites the morning of the dive, to ensure the best decision is made for that day’s weather and sea conditions. Divers are always encouraged to take a shallow afternoon dive as a refresher, if their last dive was a year ago. Three custom dive boats provide comfortable rides. The platforms provide giant stride entry and ladders allow easy exit from the water. Dive groups are kept to around 12 per boat, with 2 to 3 dive staff accompanying. Dive Adventures offers discounted dive package rates, all the latest courses to update your current certification rating, fun specialty courses and one day wonders to introduce your family or partner to Scuba this vacation.

Scuba Diving in Saba is world renowned and many divers will ensure that a day trip to the beautiful eco-island is part of their dive vacation plan. Saba dive shops offer the highest standards of service and professionalism. Novice divers are encouraged to dive a few dives in St Maarten before venturing over to Saba, as the wall and pinnacle diving can be considerably deeper.
We book Saba Deep, Sea Saba and Saba Divers. Most dive sites are very close and require little travel time on the dive boats. Sandwiches for lunch can be purchased in advance from the dive shops for the double dives, or guests can take food along. Dive Shops will provide all gear or divers can bring their own along. Daytrip ferry and double dive from $175. Saba is very unspoiled and a refreshing change from the cosmopolitan hustle and bustle that St Maarten and St Barts provide. |
