Deep Sea Fishing
The waters surrounding St Maarten are abundant with game fish, that makes a fishing charter on vacation both fun and rewarding.

There are several boats that offer charters, mostly 28' to 30' Bertrams, and a well maintained 40' Trojan called "Tempstress". 

Captains and crew members are professionals, with years of experience in the local waters. They will make sure your outing is an unforgettable one.

Boats depart for popular half day charters at 7am, returning at 11.30am. Cost $600 for the boat (max 6 pax). Singles can sign up at $150 pp, and the boat will match up other guests to join the charter. The policy with all boats is, "catch remains property of the vessel". Captains will fillet for the guests to take home. Since the boats sell the catch for profit at the market, there is always that incentive to go out and make sure there is a catch.

Drinks are included on board and guests are encouraged to bring along hats, sunblock and to take seasick tablets if necessary.
