Dutch St Maarten is a hub of activity and a shopping paradise. Philipsburg is the capital and a veritable mecca for electronics, perfumes, jewelry and souvenirs. The market is well situated and bargains available at every turn. The choice of restaurants for lunch is varied and range from beachside to fine dining, fast food to exotic Indian and Creole. Don't miss a day in duty free heaven.

- Marigot
French side St Martin is cosmopolitan and Chic. Sidewalk cafes beckon patrons in for coffee and croissants, while boutiques open with designer clothing, jewelry and perfumes. The newly completed West Indies Mall is a sight to behold on Marigot Waterfront and is home to hair stylists, gourmet delis and fantastic boutiques. The famous "Market Place" is also situated on the water front, with local crafts, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, and an array of spices and souvenirs. The Fort overlooking Marigot offers spectacular views and photo ops.
Boat departs daily from Pelican Marina at 9am. Just $10 pp.
Sightseeing Tours
Choose Mondays to take a bus tour and get oriented on the "Friendly Island". A narrated tour will ensure you receive a little background history on St Maarten/ St Martin discover which are the best beaches and trips to do, where the capitals are to shop, and offer a stop at a beach to enjoy lunch. Tours offered on Mondays are $13pp. Daily $20pp.
