The Dutch island of Saba is a refreshing change from the cosmopolitan hustle and bustle that St Maarten and St Barts provide. Named the “Unspoiled Queen” she is an eco-paradise and quite the getaway for avid divers, hikers and nature enthusiasts. Take a daytrip on Edge to this mystical mountain island. Join our lunch and taxi tour package... taxi tour around the island, time for sightseeing & shopping in the town and lunch at Tropics Cafe included. At every turn of the road is a spectacular view. Quaint shops in Windwardside sell local crafts such as the handmade Saba Lace, Saba Spice Liqueur, hand blown glass jewelry and artwork. Hikers can choose a Guided hike package or buddy up for the wondrous walk up Mt Scenery with a picnic lunch in the rainforest, on our Solo Hike Package. Choose any one of these packages from our add ons during the booking process for the ferry. Scuba Diving in Saba is world renowned. Many divers will ensure that a day trip to Saba is part of their dive vacation plan. Novice divers are encouraged to dive a few dives in St Maarten before venturing over to Saba, as the wall and pinnacle diving can be considerably deeper. Certification cards are required for all divers. Good to know: The ferry ride can be bouncy November to April when we have Christmas winds. Travel time is 90 minutes long. Ask about sea conditions if you have concerns. If the boat has to cancel, every effort will be made to secure a seat for you on another vessel if available, on another day with our vessel or a full refund will be issued. If the ferry is unable to travel due to weather or mechanical failure, you will be notified of this and can chose another day to travel with our vessel or opt to fly. Edge Ferries are not responsible for reimbursement of additional costs that this may incur, most especially at this point when these routes are new and transporting very small numbers. We regret the inconvenience to clients, it is without intention or negligence.
St. Barts is a gem of an isle. Just nine square miles and home to pristine beaches, luxury yachts, designer boutiques, and celebrities. It is the most flamboyant of the French West Indies Islands. Arrive in Gustavia Harbor and disembark at great sidewalk cafes and boutiques. White sandy beaches are within walking distance, or take an island tour with a taxi and spend the day at St Jean Beach...home to the famous "Nikki Beach" Restaurant. Travel documents: Valid passports are required for travelling and some countries (other than USA, Canadian and EU) require a visa - please ask ahead of time as immigration rules are very strict..
Now on Wednesdays: March & April 2018 Any trip to St Maarten would not be complete without a daytrip to the gorgeous and unspoiled island of sun and sand - "Anguilla", and her unparalleled sister - "Prickly Pear Cay". Come sail on Lambada... and spend the day relaxing, partying, swimming, snorkeling and making vacation memories. Anguilla & Prickly Pear -Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays Sail to Prickly Pear for snorkeling and swimming, then head to a beach on Anguilla for lunch (Tuesdays and Thursdays is lunch at Prickly Pear and a beach for the afternoon in Anguilla). Pristine white sandy beaches and turquoise blue waters will take your breath away.
Start your week right! Come join us on our Sunday Fun Day to Prickly Pear & Anguilla. Come sail on Lambada... and spend the day relaxing, swimming, snorkeling and making Sunday Fun Day memories. Lambada is a great choice for families with children, couples and groups of friends. Pristine white sandy beaches and turquoise blue waters will take your breath away while lunching on Anguilla. Lunches are a choice of BBQ chicken, fish or ribs with salads and rice and peas. Santino Motor Boat Cruises takes you along St Maarten's coastline for swimming, snorkeling and beaching. Popular stops are at Long Bay, Creole Rock for snorkeling, Grand Case for lunch, Tintamarre island and Pinel Island for swimming. Often we swim with turtles at Tintemarre Island and we visit the iguanas at Pinel island. Pack a picnic or choose to have lunch at the Lolo Shacks. Roy will be your captain for the day, and he knows all the best places.
When Tango arrives in Cove Bay, you see a brilliant white stretch of beach before you, lined with lounge chairs, when you turn around the spectacular hills of St Maarten’s will be your view all day…well…you have a obligation to lower yourself gently into a chair, order a cocktail and say aaaaahhhhh! Stay at Cove Bay for the day. You have earned it. Let Smokey’s restaurant treat you to a delicious lunch and enjoy some “tranquility wrapped in blue”.
Shoal Bay on Anguilla is rated one of the 10 best beaches to visit in the world. Magnificent long miles of, white powdery sand with crystal clear waters... make for a truly spectacular day. Tango sail catamaran and her fun crew will sail you over to Cove Bay a taxi meets guests to tour the length of Anguilla up to Shoal Bay. Sink into beach loungers, walk the beach or snorkel the small reef. It is a day in paradise. The taxi returns to Cove Bay for the lively sail home.
