St. Maarten Heineken Regatta Spectator Trips

The St Maarten Heineken Regatta is an annual sailing event and one of the biggest sailing events in the Caribbean, attracting sailors from all over the world.

The regatta was first held in 1980 and has since become a popular event among sailors, tourists, and locals alike. This four-day event in early March, includes a series of races, parties, and other social events.

Lambada and Tango sail catamarans follow the races for three days, departing from the Simpson Bay Resort Marina.  Being on board these large and spacious catamarans, allows a close-up view of the action and excitement, as all types of boats and classes race around St Maarten.

Seats sell out quickly, so book early. Be sure to bring sunscreen, a hat, and other sun protection for a morning or afternoon of fun on the water.

If you are a sailing enthusiast or just looking for a fun and exciting event to attend in St. Maarten, the Heineken Regatta is definitely worth checking out, and a seat on the spectator boats will not disappoint!
